Can you (and/or your Tuition Partner) repeat classes for free*?

Does the Partner have to register for class?
Partners will not be allowed into class unless they are scheduled for the class. The Primary Student is responsible for registering his/her Tuition Partner for class. (Note: When scheduling classes, there are two boxes next to each class. Check the first box if you wish to schedule the class for the Primary Student; check the second box if you wish to schedule the class for the Partner.)

Can the Partner repeat for free?
If a Partner attends the same class, at the same time as the Primary Student, the Partner will not use additional NR Hours. If the Partner attends class, but does not attend the same class at the same time as the Primary, both Students will use NR Hours for the class.

Do you have to attend a class to be able to repeat that class for free?
YES. You must have your ID Badge scanned into the class to confirm your attendance. You will NOT be able to repeat a class for free that you have not personally attended. (Note: For those who have purchased the Regents Tuition: either the Primary or the Partner must attend a class for either one to be eligible to repeat that same class at a future college.) All students registered for a class as of 8:30pm the night before the class will be charged the appropriate number of NR Hours for the class and will lose the privilege of free repeat attendance if they do not attend the class.

Can you only repeat classes from a previous College?
YES. You may only repeat classes from a previous College. All repeat rules for classes apply to classes attended at a previous College. (i.e. Neither the Primary Student nor the Partner can repeat a class at the same College without using NR Hours.)

Note: Repeat attendance is subject to class availability and capacity.

Do you know you won’t be able to attend the next ‘08 College?
If you do not plan to attend the next ’08 College, you should not register for classes; or, if you have already registered and know you cannot attend, please log-in to your Business Center and un-register by deleting the classes from your schedule. Don’t forfeit your repeat privilege!
